The publication home page is the control center for that publication. It is the main page for locating all actions that can be performed to a publication/app. In the first screenshot below you can see the regular and most common actions performed on a publication.
Note. Features in orange are Admin Only actions and can not be seen by a regular user. If you are an account owner or manage the apps of several organisations you will see these features, regular users will not.
The screenshot below displays the second half of the publication home page. As you can see here there is the list of all the previous issue, sorted by most recent first. The older the issue is the smaller the thumbnail appears, this is just to emphasis the latest issues and keep the webpage clean and short.
1: Breadcrumbs
This is part of the main navigation and allows you to quickly jump back to the main page etc.
2. Image thumbnail
This image is the latest issues cover image. This will change each time a new issue is uploaded.
3. Application name
This is the App Store application name - it is the longer name supplied, and may differ from the name of the app on the iPads home screen.
4. App store URL
The URL is generated by Apple when the application is created in iTunes Connect. We then create a bit.ly link for tracking, and to appear shortened in social sharing links etc
5. App Store ID
Apple generate this ID when the application is created in iTunes Connect. This will be another unique identifier for your application.
6. Bundle ID
The most important detail is the bundle ID, this is also known as the App ID, and must match exactly what is entered into the Apple Developer account and viewable when the application is created in iTunes Connect.
Magdata Version
The number here denotes the highest version of Oomph this publication is live with. In this case it is Oomph 14. Each time an update to the app is released to the store, this value must be updated to reflect the new state of the app.
7. App Actions
These are more actions you can access from the app. NOTE that the orange button only appears when you are logged in as an admin.

8. New Issue
Click this button will bring you to the New Issue screen, where you can create the latest issue in the publication, inc uploading content, preview images etc.
9. Send Notification
To send a new notification you select this button and it will provide you with two options, one to send a new Notification to allow you to send push messages to each user of that publication registered to receive them and an option to View Notifications that have already been sent.
10. Edit settings
This is the same as 7. App Actions above.
11. Analytics
These analytics offer two different options;
- Download Analytics
- Push counts
