Providing Oomph with the artwork, assets and certificates for your application could not be easier. Just log in to the Publishing Center and select the application you are working on from the main page. If you have not already created an application, click the 'Start Building a New App' from the main page. Once you are on your applications page, you will see a list of options in a sidebar on the left hand side.
The Required section is where you need to upload the artwork for your application, and the .p12 file you created earlier here, and the profiles that you created here. These assets are the bare minimum we need in order to build your application, so start from the top and work your way down.
Note: This screen will be undergoing some updates in the near future, so it may look slightly different from the screenshot above.
App Store Name: This is the full name of the app that appears in the App Store. It should be similar to the app name that appears on device and should not contain any words like iPad, iPhone etc.
On Device Name: This is the name on device, that sits beneath the icon. It is limited to about 13 characters (depending on kerning). However you can have a longer name but it will appear truncated (e.g. "Name too lon...")
Icons, Splash Screens and Artwork:These are the various icons, artworks and screenshots you see within the app and throughout the App Store. Note: All dimensions required are stated in the description. All images must be PNGs.
These are usually retina versions of the required assets, we do advise providing these also.
App Store URL: This is the URL of the application that Apple provide you after you have created your application in iTunes Connect.
The Settings section is equally as important as the Required section, as this is where you specify the app type, as well as other accounts to allow for tracking analytics, social media and so on.
Google Analytics Keys: This setting is off by default. If you create a key and enter it here, Google Analytics will be enabled in your application.
Facebook: (As of iOS6 this is no longer required as it is now natively supported and part of the device settings.)
Twitter: (As of iOS6 this is no longer required as it is now natively supported and part of the device settings.)
Notifications: This is where you specify the AWS SNS Application ARN. Oomph can enter this for you. This is only required if you wish to send push notifications.
Subscriptions (for Newsstand apps only)
NOTE: You can not offer both free and paid subscriptions in the one application.
Subscriptions: You can choose from the three following options. Our most used options are Newsstand with Subscriptions and Non Newsstand without Subscriptions.
Free Subscription Product ID: If you are offering a free subscription. You will need to add the product ID of the free subscription here.
iTunes Shared Secret: If you are offering paid in app purchases through your application. Once they are set up in iTunes connect, Apple will provide you with this key.
In App Feedback: Enter the email address where you would like to receive your users feedback and support emails. If left blank then all support and feedback emails will be directed to Oomph's Support Team.
Once you are happy you have uploaded everything you can, just hit save. You can always come back and re-upload any assets later.
