Oomph Marketplace, to be launched shortly, will be an online space where you can buy and sell iPad app templates. Marketplace operates in a similar way to many Wordpress template providers - simply download and modify an existing template, and then publish. It's that simple.
Developing a digital project for the iPad involves a lot of testing either on iOS Simulator and/or the iPad itself. More often than not a result of that testing is a minor tweak to an .anim file or a hotspot. OomphBox has a been a great help in speeding up the preview part of the equation but tweaking involved either jumping back into InDesign or plunging headlong into Acrobat. Well all that is about to change as we welcome Oomph Editor onto the Oomph stage.
Imagine being able to drag and drop a whole project folder onto the Oomph Editor App and in an instant see all of the section folders, expand them to see all of the section assets, click on a .anim file and edit it directly in the Editor Window, open a Page Swap PDF, scroll to the third page, select, move and rename an Action Hotspot. Now click on Preview and a second or two later the changed project is displayed for testing on your iPad. Magic? No Oomph Editor.
