If you have ever added audio to a page, used Flipbooks, published an In-page slideshow or implement a dozen other interactive features then you have used an Oomph Widget.
In this webinar I'm going to go beyond the built-in widgets and start building some of our own. If you want to provide your readers with feedback options such as Contact Forms, Satisfaction Surveys or even Event Registration, building your own Widget will allow you to integrate the form into your page rather than have a web view window open to display it. I'll create a form using the popular form building web application, Wufoo, add it to a page in a section folder and test it's functionality.
Oomph's new Share widgets allow you to create on-page hotspots that invoke sharing behaviour on various social networks. Though similar to the built in share functions that are available inside an app, they are much more flexible and allow a greater range of customisation. You can also use Content Templating within Share Widgets to include dynamic, contextual information.
