This feature is available as of Oomph 21+.
Due to extensive changes made by Twitter to their feed APIs, we are no longer able to support our current Twitter widgets. This change is coming in March 2013. Widgets such as Twitter Feed will cease to function. Share Twitter will remain functional. Unfortunately this is out of our control and we have done everything in our power to minimise the affect it may have on your applications.
From March on you will be able to use our new feature, TwitterTimeline. This does have limited functionality in comparison to our older widgets. Again, unfortunately this is due to restrictions Twitter are now enforcing through their APIs.
Hotspot = TwitterTimeline,id=304695591177428992
Widget Characteristics
Type | Description |
---|---|

Position in Hotspot | Top left |
Content resizes to fill hotspot | Yes |
Folder Name | TwitterTimeline |

Setup
To embed a Twitter Timeline into your content you will need the corresponding ID for that Timeline. You can embed a timeline for Tweets from an individual user, a user’s favorites, Twitter lists, or any search query or hashtag. In order to get this ID, you need to setup the widget in your Twitter account.
Click here for instructions on how to set up a Twitter widget. Twitter also provides some more detailed documentation here.
Widget Syntax
Here’s an example of the widget.
TwitterTimeline,id=304695591177428992
Do not use the above id value, its for example only. Check out here to get/create your own IDs
Dimensions
The dimensions of your widget will be taken from the size of the hotspot. There are a few restrictions:
- Width must be between 220-520px
- Height must be larger than 350px
Note: B pages (like B1-1.pdf) will resize the hotspots when rotated, care should be taken to make sure you stay within these limits otherwise your Timeline could be cropped or have space on the right.
