Please note that these transformations are introduced in Oomph version 21. Apps on earlier versions will not be able to use these transformations.
You can apply transforms to hotspots so that when rendered the frame of the hotspot is modified from the actual hotspot frame as specified in the content. This has the effect that the hotspot is say rotated when the page is loaded, so for example you can draw a hotspot in one position, but have it rendered in another with a 45 degree rotation. Previously, this effect could be simulated using an animation.
You can apply rotation, scale and translation (offset) transformations to widgets. You should not use animation with widgets that have a default transform specified, if you want to use animation you should specify the transform parameters in the animation file.
If you specify more than one parameter for the transform, the transformations are applied in the following order:
To rotate the hotspot, specify the
angle keyword with the number of degrees as the parameter:
To translate the hotspot, specify the
offset keyword with the x and y offsets in points as the parameters, separated by a colon (:)
To scale the hotspot, specify the
scale keyword with the x and y scale factors as the parameters, separated by a colon (:)
The scale factor is 1 by default, and a factor of 0.5 will make the hotspot half the size and a factor of 2.0 will make it double the size.
Default hotspot transforms are available in Oomph version 21 and later.
