Animating a Page Layer
To animate your page you apply the animation to layers. This is achieved by putting the name of the animation as part of the layer file name. Say, for example, you have a PDF layer P1-1.pdf and a second layer P1-2.pdf and you wish to have the second layer fade in after the page appears on-screen, you would name the layer files like this:
The animation is performed when the page first appears on screen. Any un-animated layers are drawn as per usual, and then animated layers are applied in sequence. In the above example the PDF would appear, and then the second PDF would fade in on top.
Here is a more complex example combining a sequence of animations to bring content onto the screen one layer at a time:
P1-1.pdf P1-2-MoveInFromTop.pdf P1-3-MoveInFromRight.pdf P1-4-MoveInFromBottom.pdf P1-5-MoveInFromLeft.pdf
The layer 1 PDF would appear normally, then layer 2 would slide in from the top of the screen, then layer 3 would slide in from the right, layer 4 from the bottom and finally layer 5 from the left to complete the page.
Animating a Layer Inside An Object
Objects that are constructed by layer files can also have their layers animated in the same way as full page layers. The mechanism is identical, simply put the animation name on the end of the file name inside the object folder, e.g.:
